Geh 5 pages, I'll just summarize my responses to everyone here

As regards the rotoscoping:

For one, I'm a premiere editor, never used Vegas. So my masking is either AE or traditional Photoshop. Too many frames in this for the photoshop method for me to keep up with, so I used AE which I was less experienced with, Hence why the masks get better as I went along (found better methods of doing it as I went) SOme of the earlier masks were also done quickly to meet the Otakon deadline, I had originally meant to go back and fix up some of the earlier ones, but honestly got tired of working on this video to the point that I probably wouldn't like it anymore If I spent any more time on it ;p So I just decided to release it as is since its so fast that most people don't notice it anyway ;p

This video was a large experience of realy learning AE better, so my next video like this will be alot better in that regard.

godix: I never mean to copy anyones styles, I'd say that my style is to experiment with new stuff. I get ideas from other things, not just amvs, but I never *try* to copy anyones styles. Its just that my technical ability has improved since my earlier works, so I try more challenging technical things.

Doesn't surprise me though, I didn't expect you to like this one ;p You may better like my awa pro entry.

And yea this vid is a bit hard to categorize, It wasn't edited to match the 3 I selected, I just went with whatever seemed closest. Its definitely not Comedy, drama, instrumental, or any of the others.

Seems like its a love or hate thing with the song, I personally didn't care for the song the first time I heard it, but it quickly grew on me, and I liked it enough now to make an amv to it.

I think I addressed everything, thanks for the comments all ^^

Completely pathetic - I could barely finish watching half of it.
The effects were done poorly and the timings were off.
Not to mention your scene choice.
Wtf?
Spoiler :
This is fucking win, 5* and to my top10 list..

I thought this was very entertaining. Not particuarily a fan of the anime sources, but it was fun to watch. I like that quick Sailor Moon clip near the beginning :P

I also think the song was pretty catchy.

For its category, this amv is surely an instant win.Awesome visual quality, extremely good use of masking and effects, sugoi editing.
6/5 tecnhically,no doubt about it. :D :D

However, like a lot other people,I'd really like to see vids like your earlier works in terms of video meaning.Anyway, experiments are good and I really liked how this vid turned out!! 8-)

Enjoyable, definitely enjoyable. It's a fun ride that is a good break from videos with a meaning. Good job!

Warheart wrote:Nothing special somehow, I liked the effects at the very beginning those looked M@Dlike and thus something you don't see everyday. The rest was random fanservice with a song I can't get to like and effects that look very much like Vegas standart maskings and glow, altough you say you've used AE I somehow don't really see why (except for the beginning). Moreover the actual editing was quitwe convincing some nice action syncs and alot of motionpumped scenes, but the whole concept isn't my cup of tea since I prefer serious stuff. So this video is just above average on my scale. So don't let the actual rating distract you, the actual technical and editing stuff was pretty good and I guess you know already that most people liked it. ;)

6.4/10
Same com. :)
