Seriously, do a full video like that and you are my hero
x2

Well i was really astonisged, though I regreted having seen beats... . It took quite some of the video away. I liked your conceüt though and the dark atmosphere of the video. Well, sorry to say this, but I didn't think you needed this PI use in the video. I have worked with it as well (not really good I must admit) but it isn't that difficult to control. The gun-scene from Halo seemed strange to me, although I don't know why... . all in all JCD summed it up quite well. Congrats ;).

I'll download it later (you knew I would )

I don't think a 1:00 video is to short per se. In fact my new video isn't longer than your video. I think it's about getting a point accross. Some people use a 1:00 video for it, some people use a 10:00 video...

People need to stop complaining about the length. I get that all the time on my shorter videos as well. Respect the creator's vision: this is how it was supposed to be. It's a great trailer. 8-)

Janzki, you I get your point, but still (and I guess Im talking for all of us) it would have been better if it had been longer. It's not that we dislike Nio's "vision" (like you called it), but this length makes it hard to enjoy the video since it is over when one comes to this point.

Well other then the fact that the audio was short and all I understand what most people are getting at with the length and such and that I should do a longer video with the same if not more dedication that im giving to all my short stuff.

Thing is... I'm personaly afraight I will more or less "drown" in my video and just finish it up not doing it justice I mean I'm not a guy with endless patience and if this thing cost me around 100 houres think of what a 3 min vid would do... I am trying to get my head aroudn something for AWA this year seeing as I dont want everybody to guese my vid on first sight due to its lenght... But I need to get ahold of a solid consept first =]

Either way thnx for the reply's people ^^

Actually the real trailer ended with a shot of the title, which is a standard way of closing up any trailer. That seems to be something that was missing from your video. However, I did like how you showed the shot of the severed arm at the end where the actual trailer showed the title. Maybe this video could have used some kind of credits screen making use of your box cover image kind of like what I did for my Doom trailer (screen shot). Actually, I just copied that from the real trailer, but something similar could also work for this video.

As for the length of the video, like my comments on 'Guts, Prince of Denmark', I like to see quality over quantity, but quantity does matter. Not to say that it would make the video bad, but when a video seems too short or too long, it severely limits the replay value. If I were to compare a very good 2.5 minute video with an excellent 1 minute video, I might like them both, but the longer one would likely be my favorite of the two. This also goes with some personal preference that I generally don't like teaser trailers, even official ones.

Anyway, I still have to say that this is a great video. I might not consider it for best trailer (My favorite so far this year is 'Full Metal Guide To The Trailers'), but I will consider this for best horror at the end of the year.
Final Doom "Amazing things will happen here soon."

Neon Genesis Evangelion: Substance "Everyone knows that it's a dangerous substance."

The length serves it's purpose. It is what it is: A trailer.
