i'm checking this out only because i'm a complete illustrator whore, and i'm curious how you incorporated it into the video.
expectations remain low

was about what i expected, having seen your work before.
a whole lot of pointless use of effects. many effects unpolished, and not flowing into the next effect or scene very well. aspect ratio was incorrect.
you made that leaf mask with illustrator. well, sort of. it's a brush.

you used alot of presets, so i don't see much effort. the sync and capture (considering how new the show is) are really the only redeemable qualities.

this is the sort of video you show to newbies to impress them :/

This reminded me way too much of Yume O Miru. And that is not a good thing, at all.

1/5

Put some thought into your next AMVs, instead of just whoring effects.

Mmmm not so bad in my honest opinion, but i had to stop it half way through because it started to become annoying with all the effect. Good job on the effects but way too much of it >.>

i hardly used illustrator and particleIllusion. i used particleIllusion in this amv only for the bg at 1:17-1:35, then at 2:01-2:02. and illustrator i used for an effect in AE and the bg at 1:45-1:47. the leaf shit is PH, 3:07-3:17 is ph and the rest is vegas and after effects. and ther not a lot of presets

You still used too many pointless effects, regardless. It's annoying to see AMV's full of worthless effects without a decent story especially if they're done poorly. Meh, I shouldn't be talking :amv: ....

This is the classic video that can be found impressive by the newbyes out there.
In the beginning I have to quote minion and Fuze.

It isn't anyway a really bad video.
And some effects are quite good. :)
I enjoyed 1:28 / The idea at 00:52 // 1:30 /// 1:54.

You should use the effects in a complete different way, though.
