  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I suppose if you need a story..., Joey brings up a good point, as for lyrical, beat, and atmospheric sync. I felt were pretty on par for what this source allows and what was executed.

That's how it should be, take it and move along. Personally I'm glad to see someone take this anime and step outside of the box because I've heard and seen so much 5cm amvs set to the same genre and it was enough for me to hate the anime altogether. While this isn't the most perfect amv with this anime it takes it in a whole new direction and I pretty much get where you're coming from when you were brainstorming this and editing it. Never could think of this combination and next time you do an amv like this try to have a balance of story, lyrical, beat, and atmospheric sync.
Thanks jwalk and when I was doing this I was never really trying to do a story just try my best to keep the depressed atmosphere

The use of hardcuts well balanced with the quick crossfades to keep up the tone of the voice, the general atmosphere you were able to keep up throughout the video. You really did have him feeling like a stressed out every day dude. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite amvs, man. I'm proud of you.
Thanks Joey I appreciate it man

Yea it came out a lot better then I planned it, the lyric sync worked with me. While I was editing this when I started I didn't think this was gonna work lol

Thanks man that is what the idea to do this video came from, I just wanted to try something different with 5cm you don't see a lot.

The beginning was a pretty interesting, the rest was pretty boring and repetitive. Sure, the atmosphere and the pacing of the video flowed great throughout the whole video but that was the main problem for me. The constant focus on that guy is what you aimed for obviously but the whole scenery of it was pretty dull. Other then that i guess it was pretty good. I can see what you wanted to capture in the video, and you honestly did a decent job but it was just boring.
