Decided to make a slight amendment to my requirements. I realized that my idea for the intro is such that I really don't require video footage from everyone. That being the case, I'm negating my request for it.
Now, only sayde requires footage from each of you, and the deadline is creeping up very quickly for that.
For those of you who had already sent me something, thank you. I know for sure that there's still a purpose for one or two of the clips that I received, but it will be easier if I just seek out the rest of what I'm looking for myself.
Thanks again, and I hope you're all cracking away at this. ^_^

is there an ftp we can use for this? my internet isn't too flash hot on those upload sites.
Also if i send a fraps video is that okay? THey're much smaller then Huffys and they're as good as the quality can possibly be - the only drawback is you have to own the fraps codec which can be downlaoded for free at fraps.com - but still.

Sorry, I'm not fancy enough for FTP.
Alternatively, if you have troubles uploading huge files, you can split the video into smaller parts and upload it one piece at a time. The File Splitter is a good way of doing this. Just upload each part and then .zip/.rar the .exe with the last part you send and the video can be easily reconstructed by whoever you send it to.
Also... about FRAPS... if you're talking about the lossless footage that you're sending to sayde, then you'll have to check with him. Updates on this thread are sporadic now, so you'll probably want to PM him to get his attention.
As for me... I downloaded a trial of FRAPS some time ago, so the codec is still floating around on my compy. I haven't actually used it (the codec or the program), so I couldn't tell you much beyond that.
Hope that helped a little.

As long as it's still relatively easy to obtain the codec and as long as I can load it into virtual dub mod, you can use whatever codec you want.bluetrain wrote:Also if i send a fraps video is that okay? For the record, despite the fact that I may rarely post anything, I check this topic daily. If you have questions for me, feel free to post them here or through pm. Either way, you're questions will most likely not go overlooked.

Alrighty. That's okay if you want to change - just make sure to let me know so that I can keep the information correct and up to date.
The only other thing I ask is that you make sure sayde gets the footage he needs for the outro. That's important, or we're going to have shoddy looking credits, which I'm sure nobody wants.
Oh, speaking of which... it's embarrassing to be saying this myself after what I just said, but sayde, I'll be late turning in my clip, because I'm not quite through rendering all of the footage yet. I'll be almost completely free tomorrow, so I'll do my best to hop to it then.
