Alright, let's put it this way:

If you didn't rip the DVD yourself you cannot use the footage. Use anime you have the DVDs to.

the fact that it's a vob means nothing, for all you know it could be what some person d/loaded and put on DVD then ripped to fool people....although i don't know why anyone'd bother but thats not the point.

vobs can be of any quality, it just means that they have been on DVD in some way at some point, not neccesarily at the beggining of their digital life...

I'm not gonna tell u to quit, but the fact is they probably won't waver about the DVD rule, and I can't say that I disagree with them. You've got to have friends who have anime to borrow.

yeah i agree in theory, but i don't want any other tracks, and i fear if i don't get my call in early enough they'll disappear and i won't wanna do the project anymore.
