I think it depended on which version of xp you bought (normal, sp1 included etc etc).

any other downloadable solutions?cuz it keeps telling me that movie maker is only made for XP so im giving up on that...

Ok, it looks like you guys are getting confused, so let me rephrase. Windows Movie Maker (version 1) comes on Windows ME, XP, and maybe 2000. If you have XP, you can download version 2 as an update for version 1 (sort of like how you have MSN, and you downlaod the new version). You can get version 2 from the Microsoft website, or from the Windows Update.
But, even if you can't figure out how to get version 2, EVERY ME, XP, and maybe 2000 computer has version 1 already installed on the system, and can be accessed the way I said previously.
