  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Bah, I don't know what that's supposed to mean. ;p I thought the editing was nice, almost perfect sync. Though sometimes you seemed to sync a little too much (I mean to things I couldn't even hear).
Heh, that was probably just me hearing echoes from having the volume up too loud. Thought there were a few parts where I just liked the look of the movements regardless of the pattern I'd established (layered music - and my inconsistency when it comes to what notes I sync on). But that's sort of what I mean - I'm not fluid except in my own mind - my little TWT quirk. ^.~
I liked it though, and it's a nice song. Of course, some of those effects were just way too cheesy but I think it makes it even more fun. I thought the effects from 0:16 to 0:22 were awesome though (go figure ^_^;;).
Heh, I hate effects that are blatant and obvious, but I figure - making a vid without effects gets me complaints for non-visible effects, making a vid with visible effects gets me complaints about them being boring or overdone - so if I'm going for effects I'll make them plainly visible, separated enough so they don't 'snap-snap-snap' blind people, and then I can laugh at them. ;p Cheesy - that's exactly what I was aiming for with the X footage and the Sorcerer Hunter cuts.

But I'm glad you liked the Psychic Force section. ^_^;; Those right there took the longest to get down right since the effects move - not the footage (except for the last one - I didn't want anything rolling over that pic since it was horizontal and small - plus I had the color changing - a rolling bar would have really been distracting for me).
My friend said, "Melody plays like an NES project, but from one creator, so it's a lot more uniform." I think that's pretty accurate. It was a good fun video, and I wouldn't mind watching it fairly often. ^_^
I actually thought of the vids I've seen from the project when I first heard the track - that rolling insanity I used for the girls' section. But I never saw the actual mixed project. Either way, I'm glad you liked it. ^_^ I made it for me, but it's nice to know I'm not completely insane - though I doubt anyone else would mix some of these scenes in a single video. ;p

Heh, well, what video don't you essentially make for yourself? ;p Lol, you remembered TWT... now I feel all emotional. ^_^;;
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

Heh, only the request vids are made for others, and even then I make sure *I* like them as well. ^.~

But of *course* I remember TWT. ^_^ It was the first thing that came to mind when I decided on this track - to do my favorite type of editing - psychotic only-Ari-gets-it timing. Which goes with the title of the vid - to me this flows perfectly. For anyone else, it would look just random, typical of me, and fitting the TWT dub. ^.^

I liked it, good job. I think some of the image mattes could get some improvement to make them more interesting, that way they're pretty dull. Some of the timing in the beginning seems to be off. Dunno if Windows Movie Maker lets you do this even frame accurate >_>

You improved from the last vid I saw from you... is there no chance to get you away from WMM? There could still be so much improvement ;)

Yeah, I just 'discovered' that effect and drew them up in mspaint while I was at work. ^_^;; I haven't seen this much, so I liked them - but if I used that in the future I'd definitely do colored layers, of not actual screenshots. For this, I was just 'prettying' up the clips a bit with the pics. Just think of it as a noob using 'fade-to-white' for the first time - I thought it looked neat. #^_^#

I think the difference is 3 frames last time I compared it to Showbiz (which is similar to Premiere except you can't cut clips or have multiple video tracks). Still, it's probably me and not the editor - action sync is my worst 'area' after effects. :?

I wish. I couldn't figure out how to use the trial when I downloaded it, and I won't spend that much on a program I can't use. And since I can't reinstall the trial (I've tried) that means I won't learn how to use it without buying it - and even then I probably won't be able to (I *still* can't use Showbiz after trying for nearly a year, and it's a single-video track editor). So it's just wmm 2.0, virtualdub, and some of showbiz (not timing - the audio layout in that program sucks nearly as bad as wmm 1.0 ). I may check around to see if there's an easier program with a layer option (that's the only thing I wanted premiere for) - otherwise, this is it.

Just consider me lazy and lacking in ambition - I'm almost done making vids and as long as I like them... The only thing I'd do differently if I used premiere is layer a few clips - otherwise I like the way I edit. ^_^;
