Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Please host this locally or something before people take your head off for posting a link to youtube. No one takes kindly to that around here.
Edit: Here is a very useful guide for uploading if you're having any problems. Has very easy step by step pictures to follow.

Why are so much of these youtube people coming here? There's probably people from the org on there telling these "creators" to come and show us what they've got. (which, for the most part, is not a lot) I understand that the right thing to do is to help pick out their weak spots. But, It's starting to get annoying seeing all these people with youtube links and then having their threads locked....over..and over..and over again.
The only reason I'm doing this is because I'm procrastinating. Damn essay due tomorrow. >_>;

Haha, GL with the essay yo. And everyones new at some point, its up to people who actually know what they're doing to take the effort to help newer creators out. And yes, I consider most people from youtube to be new, since they probably haven't seen a REAL good video in their life and thus they don't even know what the standard is yet or whats expected out of them.Fuze wrote:Why are so much of these boochsack people coming here? take the numbers after the = sign (highlighted in green)in the url to your video and add them to the vidid tag like this:
and it will make this:
(which is exactly what Bauzi posted)
