Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Post by Banass » Sun May 06, 2007 6:13 pm

So here's my latest work:

Artist:Rise Against
song: Tip the scales
Anime: Naruto shippuuden

This is about Gaara and his village.

Enjoy and comment!

Uhm... I can tell you why I don´t download, but I wanted to, because you´ve asked for comments. Anyway:

-Naruto: Shippuuden (TV)
-This is about Gaara and his village. (oh yeah... it´s Gaara again in another vid -.-')
-85.1 MiB
-XVID/PCM (Compress your audio in VDM!!!)
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... audio.html
I hope you still have the looseless file.

And I´m not in the mood for Rise Against. I think I got sick about them. I guess, I heard them to often in my car.

Yeah comments are nice at all, but don´t be surprised if nobody gives you one for a not really interessting amv. Does this look interessting? For me not.
Relax... Hang back... Start your next amv and just be patient.

Hey I haven´t got one single comment in my threads for one of my best amvs here. It just needed it´s own time.

Dude. No. I did not like a single one of the effects in this video. They were all done without any purpose other than you probably thought they were cool at the time. The sync was way off. I barely made it through the video once. You have to focus, man.

Ok, thanks for the comment.

Yup, I'm still learning my Vegas, and my next masterpiece will be on the top 5 list.

Hell he´s right at all!

You can´t say: "Muhahaha my next amv will kick all your asses". That´s not possible if you don´t even know the basics like timeing or creating a good mood or story.

People will watch your next amv, because:
-They want to laugh (hey I´m just honest)
-Or they really think that you´ve improved

However... Do your best and don´t make to big steps or don´t want to much from you. Just edit... try to improve... read the guides... and maybe some day you make kick ass amvs. That´s all. There is no single editor that is a master at the first minute.

Edit:
Nice mistake xD Edit buttons are fun!

I feel you're editing for the wrong reason. The only reason you're trying is to just get on the top 10 list. If you create something that

1. You want to make
2. Have fun making
3. Plan out making
4. Take your time making

Then you might be able to get fairly positive reviews, but being on the top list is the wrong kind of motivation, especially if you're still fairly new at it.
