Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

N0OB wrote:Well the video quality has definitely improved on this one, however it seems like the brightness is just a bit far down, there were some scenes in this that (for me) were wayyyy to dark. I checked my brightness settings, etc with my graphics card and everything seemed in order. I also played some other AMV's that I have on my computer and they didn't have that issue so I'm assuming its your video source. The file size is also a tad large for an AMV of this length, it should be around 30-40 mbs for the file type you were using however this one was about 90 megs.

On another note, I'd suggest you upload your videos onto a different external site next time, this video took me over 2 hours to download, at an unwavering rate of 13 KB/s. I checked my connection as well and that wasn't what was causing the problem.

Now onto the AMV itself. The sync used was incredibly minimal (if there even was any). It did follow a TAD of lyrical sync in the beginning and I mean TAD, but if you were trying to establish that all of the characters were family it certainly wasn't accomplished. What this wound up being was a video that was too dark, relatively unsynced...basically what seemed to me like random clips that dragged out too long thrown to music.

(As I've recommended on some of your previous videos, you should take a look at some of the guides here, especially guides on sync. Maybe that will help you fix the brightness issues and get some sync going for you.)
I read that and I can see what I have to do now! Thanks, I was looking for those tutorials :/
