install multiple versions of LAGS codec?

Hey all, a question just popped into my head. As I as well as a lot of other members have been having a lot of problems with version 1.3.12 of the Lagarith codec, I wanted to revert back to the earlier release of 1.3.10. The problem is if I replace with the older version, my clips encoded with the newer won't open.

So, is there a way to have both installed at the same time? Or is this just a fantasy of mine and I'll just have to lump it? Anyone with any ideas?

I think maybe if you renamed the dll file and changed the 4cc codes that it uses, you might be able to have 2 versions installed, but then again I'm not sure as I've never tried it.

If you experience any bugs though, you should be sure to contact SirLagsALot about them so he can try and fix them.

well, it seems that the error is the once currently a bug (the 'garbage' frame thing that a lot of us have been having and what was posted in the other thread). I don't know if he's fixed the problem yet ?

anyway something to look into >.>
