iTunes and WMM
Are iTunes compatible with WMM? I don't use iTunes, but a friend of mine does. She wants to start making amvs and all she has are songs in iTune format. I thought I'd ask here for her.

I think it is not compatible except you or she must have to convert the itunes in different format to fit in window movie maker.....goddess8878 wrote:Are iTunes compatible with WMM? for itunes, what you want to do is burn the song to a CD then rip the CD like you would any other CD

It can be rip especially if she know how to ^^;; but yeah I would say use the music CD instead of itunes ^^;; much better that way....goddess8878 wrote:It does suck. She seems really excited about making an amv. And I've basically shot it down. Well, for now anyway. She does have a media player though, and I use mine to rip cds. So, maybe she'll be able to do that.
also you don't have to get a CD burner if you have a window media player, right?
if she insist the itunes she will need a converter program for that

Actually, there is a program called Xilisoft that can convert .m4a (iTunes) files to MP3, .wav, etc...the full version costs money, but the trial download works well. The only problem is it can only convert the first five minutes of a song, but for most purposes this should be enough ^_^
