I do recall saying I wanted OPs or QCs! I would imagine, that someone with a sophisticated understanding of the English language, would know that I didn't want my vid discussed in this thread. I commonly say that in most of my announcements and very rarely did an announcement turn into a two page discussion board! I wanted feedback, comments, opinions and criticism. Just not in the GD announcement thread! If I didn't want any I wouldn't have asked for OPs or QCs. Does anyone here know what those are anymore? Submit a fricking Opinion for the video, don't post it. And a Quick Comment is something you can leave anonymously when you submit your star rating after downloading an AMV. Obvously discussions don't occur in amv announcement threads cause most of my announcements don't even have replies whatsoever! Only about two or three (excluding this one) ever received more than two replies. So go shove it up your ear, Eshran-Ershan-whatever! Yeah, that's right. I'm mad now. Not because my video wasn't received so well, that I can handle, but because of your obvious misunderstanding and misinterpretation of what I meant when I said "leave an Op or a QC". Good day, sir!

Everyone wants QCs and Ops.
Do they get them by being pissy and bitching for them?

On second thought, don't answer that...

My point is, be happy people even took the time to look at your thread. Instead of telling you what they think, they could just overlook you all together.

It seems one has to have knowledge of this series.
Because I didn't get any story or relationships together.
The effect with the eyes looked nice but I didn't get what you tried to tell, except you meant they all have blue eyes?
The blending at the jogging scene looked strange.
Encode looked nice.

Lurk more. Every AMV Announcements post that actually gets replies always has people discussing the video; if you make a post here, you're inviting feedback. Plus, we never actually discuss the merits of individual AMVs in General AMV.

ive seen the series, and i can see what hes getting at with it, so i agree it DOES take atleast basic knowledge of the series

i can understand your reasoning behind wanting them "not public" but at the same time its not like this is going to be "public" forever (it will eventully fall off the first page and be locked like the rest), unless someone is THAT bored to look up your announcement thread after finding your video.. (which though possible is unlikely)

but unless youre one of those that has tons of friends that just want to post some random crap in your announcement thread, people will discuss your video... (even then after the initial babble i get after first announcing people will still discuss my video)

infact it was the discussion that drew me interested in seeing if what the people were saying is the truth... some parts are, some parts arent as bad as people are saying

imo

and for the record: kicking your feet and demanding people dont post in your thread and leave you ops instead is a good way to get most people to just not respond to your future threads

maybe for the first couple of threads... but then they lose interest in you after a while...

You didn't change much comparing to original video. The quality is a big improvement, also synch got a little better. Some of the scenes were also better than original, but that's it. It wasn't a remake, but remastered and polished a bit version of the first vid.

And the first vid lacked very important features - flow and story. Some good vids are based strongly on the anime, but this just lacks any inside story at all. I've read the spoiler Jaddzia wrote and still find this vid extremely random.

And about the flow - you really must listen to the music. When the music get stronger and you put static and weak scenes the feeling of connection between video and music is gone.

And one more thing - you are wrong, annoucment is also one way for the discussion about videos. And if you are so ashamed of your vid, that you cannot talk about them in public, than don't announce it. You want feedback? Learn to deal with it.
