My first original AMV since 2003: Samurai Champloo Crazy

Title: Samurai Champloo Crazy
Anime: Samurai Champloo
Artist: Gnarls Barkley
Song: Crazy
Run time: 3:01
Size: 25MB

I did this in the same vein as my Cowboy Bebop Everlong videos, and wanted something more of a pure action video. It's split into three segments. The first is narrated by Mugen, the second is Jin and then Mugen again, and the third is Fuu, for each of their stories. I found this song to be a good fit and was surprised it hadn't been done earlier, but it still took me a while to get the right feel for each scene. I tried to keep it low key without a lot of fast cuts in an attempt to recreate the atmosphere of the show and reduce the seizure factor most action videos have.

Also, I haven't created an original AMV since Iris in 2003. I've remade a couple of my older videos and also did three video game music videos. ...So the title of this thread is technically correct.

So what did you guys think about it? There seem to be a lot of varying opinions. Seems to be getting a 5/5 and then a 1/5 with each alternating review.

Liked the effort put into the composure of this. (First just clips of Mugen, then just clips of Jin, then the two together) Overall this didn't actually work very well...maybe it's just something about the song that doesn't shout "THIS SHOULD BE MADE INTO A CHAMPLOO VIDEO!" Also the quality leaves a bit to be desired...I'd say 2/5.
Because you're less than 3 stars, you get a Snapple Fact as a quick comment :P
