Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.
This is technically my third video, having made a couple several years back. Of course those broke pretty much every rule imaginable (WMM, fansubbed footage..). This is my first video done in Premiere, however, and I followed EADFAG to the letter. I learned LOTS of things in the process, as you can imagine.
Anyways, this is the result. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. I'm looking for viewer opinions/reactions and constructive criticism that will benefit me for this and/or future videos. So feel free to let me know what you think needs to be improved and what you like best.
It was quite dramatic at some points and you certainly used the lyrics for your advantage. Towards the end there was some pretty powerful moments you managed to create.
Overall the beginning is a bit slow, but after it got past that, I found myself liking the vid. Nothing too special in terms of editing but for a first/third AMV I see some potential here.
Considering your response, do you think there's anything I could have done differently to make the beginning more interesting?
As far as editing, yeah, I kept it pretty simple, mainly opacity stuff. I was learning enough pre and post editing information as it was, but I think I'll be looking into how certain effects are done and what's possible when I tackle future vids.

Hm.. yeah I see what you mean. Shane (friend o' mine) warned me about being too literal at one point. I think that I just found some of the synches to be too irresistable to ignore, heh. I'll try to keep a closer eye on that in the future.
