I swore to myself that I was never, ever going to create a Naruto amv, but here I am, having completing a Haku Tribute. Here's a small excerpt from my video description:

Around the time of my 19th birthday, which was a few months back, I required the second Naruto uncut boxset, and my eyes were immediately entraced by the character known as Haku. I could relate to his calm demeanor and his reason for fighting, for my feelings are mutual. I could also relate to all of the rabbit symbolism found throughout his segments, for rabbits are fragile, soft-spoken figures, and that is what both Haku and myself represent. Thus, I decided to create an amv centering around both my feelings and Haku's, and here it is.

Please enjoy, and rate/review my amv if you would like to.

My main point of praise goes with the song. Stars is one of my very favorite bands, and this is one of their better songs, so kudos for having good taste in music :)

The video did have it's strong points, but I think there were a lot of things that could be improved upon. Namely the flow. Now, understandably enough, flow is hard to define (essentially it's how well does the pacing of the scene selection, transition selection, and everything go along with the flow of the music. Does whats happening on screen look like it belongs where it is in relation to the music) and sometimes even harder to actually achieve, but here I thought there were a lot of missed opportunities. I think the video had some missed potential.

My #1 piece of advice here is beta test the video with friends. Get some input throughout the various stages of the video. It can truly help bring out the potential of a video. If you don't have any friends who are into AMV's, go make some. Hang out in the #amv IRC chat. Talk to people on the forums.

Ya Ya. This was kind of...well...just an experiement, and yes, I should have beta-tested it, but thanks for all of the advice thus far. ^_^ I'll keep working harder!
