"Daydreamer" [Anime: Koi Kaze]

Post by » AceMan » Sun Mar 25, 2007 2:39 pm

Hi :)

My first 100% serious AMV. At least I think it is :)

I used "Koi Kaze" serie, so those of you who have already seen it perhaps know what is this about :)

But if you haven't, then I must warn you that it contains major spoilers.
So watch on your own responsibility.

Here's description from AnimeNewsNetwork Encyclopedia:
Spoiler :
Saeki Koushirou works as a wedding planner, but his own love life is a shambles. His background makes it difficult for him to commit himself wholeheartedly to love. The child of a divorced couple, he lives with his father. He has a mother and a sister, but he has not seen them in years. After being dumped by his girlfriend, a chance encounter with a female high school student shakes Koushirou's calm and awakens new feelings in him - but he learns that the girl is in fact his sister, who will now be staying with his father and him. Yet, the feelings in Koushirou's heart...
And my vid, with larger description, can be found here:

Enjoy.

:o

This video is awesome. Definitely chock full of spoilers like you said. It's nice seeing the series getting some usage too, since it's great and underrepresented in amvs. But yeah, really neat vid with an interesting style. Very cool stuff.

Excellent video! You focused on a story, which is great 8-) and I really enjoyed it.

Only thing that bothered me are those effects at the beggining... They are a little annoying for my eyes(although you synced them pretty good).

Anyway, good job

Like I said before - best of yours (IMHO) so far :] Great mood, nice synch..
I still dislike those artifacts at the begining, though they don't annoy me as much as they did at first (I guess after some watching I get used to them )

ZOMG!!!

I <3 Koi Kaze so I immediately downloaded this and right from the get go, I knew that I was in for a ride.

Very well done. I usually don't go for edgy music, but it would so well in this amv that I simply did not mind.

Best koi kaze amv out there today IMO

Wow. Quite surprising :-o I havent seen the anime but I've seen footage from it and always thought it would be hard to work it into a good video, but you pulled it off very well. I loved the music and how you used it to build your narrative (I love narrative videos). So, very well done indeed :)
