Sony Vegas 7.0 T_T

My friend installed a Sony Vega 7.0 on my computer and I'm new to making vids. I've made my first vid and I tried saving it on my sony vegas in the "Render as..." and made it to a .wmv file. After I check out my video in Windows Media Player it only shows 3 seconds of it and that's all =\. I've been trying to look for ways to save my video and it's kind of annoying that I can't save it right. I've been saving it over and over but I'm wondering if i'm doing it wrong? I'm totally new to video making so Sony Vegas is making me go completely nutz. I appreciate anyone who helps me in this desperate time of need to make my video T_______T;

In Sony Vegas , ya must mark whatcha wanna render. Ex.- Mark all of thy video (from endin' to beginin') , and then not on the timeline,but upper,there is a little marker (yellow one) - expand it on whole thy clips,so then it'll export whole vid.

Uncheck "Render Loop Region Only".
