Good morning!

Bumpers either before or after the video are fine, 808-buma! In the past, Otafest's attendees have tended to like them, and for judging purposes, we will work around them!

Thank you very much for entering, Vegeta119, Autraya, and to everyone who has entered so far! I look forward to the work of those still to come (ie: especially your's, jade_eyed_angel! ^_~)

Cheers,

ok I read the rules and now I have a doubt about the lenght of the AMVs, it says that max is 6 minutes, which is the min lenght for the contest? (1-2 minutes?).

oh are japanese video game footage allowed? (such as Kingdom Hearts and the like)

PS: I would assume that we can use the a-m-v.org link, for the download link, right?

*grinning widely* I await your entry with a gleam of madness in my eyes, Gene!

Autraya, can I get more details about your MEP? I ask because there's a 6 min time limit for entries. If your MEP is a "regular length" AMV that is being worked on by 4 different editors, then sure, by all means, we will accept it! If it's 4 different videos that flow one right into the other, I'll have to discuss it a bit more with the crew...

Hi omegaevolution! The minimum limit is 1 min, although we're really flexible on that one (I believe I had a couple of entries last year that were *just* under a minute, and I accepted them.) Japanese video game footage is most definitely allowed (it seemed like half my entries last year had some sort of final fantasy or Kingdom Hearts footage!), and most definitely, your a-m-v.org link to download is acceptable!

Hope this helps!

Sounds fantastic! Just make sure that all the different creators are listed when you submit the entry, and it should be okay!

If I can finish an AMV before the deadline then I'll enter, but that would be super hard to do.
