Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Ahh! The mushyness! *takes cover*

But aside from that; you did a good job. Fit with the lyrics and mood and all.

ConCrit...erm... better image quality? It wasn't bad quality, it just wasn't as good as it can be, that's all. *shrugs*

Nice vid, but a bit too mushy for me

The internet gets me down with the "made of win", "/end", "anyone who" talk. I thought no matter what, this video was going to blow me away with these type of comments.. oh well. I'm disappointed.

This video is nice. The song is an automatic fit with OMG/AMG already due to what the emotions of the source brings, knowing the anime at all or not.. scenery in the anime and character expressions go lovely with this song. Lyric wise, 90% of this video didn't fall in place.. which has a lot to do with the limited footage but I'm sure a lot of scenes here and there would of been more fitting in a lot of places. Synch felt lazy.. the mood was there but it just sort of flowed with the audio, like I said before, it's a natural fit based on the feeling both the song and anime give off. I got into it because of this, but just in general. Most of the time I was craving better synch.. and I'm not just talking about beat synch but other forms of synch that some might be aware I've gone off about here and there..

It's a pleasent video, it has some good synch points, but overall things seem to be missing that would make this video feel more complete. Also aside from all this.. the pleasent angelic footage and angelic audio calls for some nice angelic visual quality. This is one of the worse looking AMG movie amvs I've seen. I wish you would of worked more on the visual quality, it would of been a lot more enjoyable.

Overall... for me this is a 3.3/5 star rating.

Nice video, but like I said, needed some work IMO.

Uh? What you mean "worse looking AMG movie amv"? It looks good to me, is it when you make it fullscreen? How do i make it good looking then? :?:

About the simple editing its because i only used VirtualDub editor to slice and append, i dont have any advanced video editor program neither i have money to buy one, is there any free i can get?

Most of the AMG movie AMVs I've seen have really good visual quality. I don't know if you used the DVDs or not, but using them as source footage for starters would increase the likelyhood of having a good looking amv.

If you want to learn more about editing with DVDs if you don't know already, check out the guides located at this site. The also tell you good ways of compressing your footage and also if you want it to look sharper, and take away noise or whatever could use touch ups, they tell you how to do that as well.

unfortunatelly is not possible to remaster this video since the original sliced clips were taken at that quality and it would be a big work to slice them all over again.
Well, you got the idea, guess thats what more important (also dont forget this is my first amv, dont put expectations too high...), i will try to improve quality on my next video...
