Full size poster here

Oh, yeah! This video is as big as the poster!
What else can I say... oh, yes, right, of course – Biiiiig Mistake! In fact, it’s the biggest one! It’s Huge! Gigantic! Colossal! Immense! And it’s nice, really nice...

In the beginning I wanted to have only a little fun with Medicopter 117 theme but in the end I compiled a 34 minutes long musical, and now it isn’t funny anymore – it’s an epic war drama :? or something like that...

I don't know why it had to be over 500 megs...since really the quality wasn't that great, you could have compressed it more. Overall I thought it was enjoyable, got pretty epic in a lot of parts, but worth watching.

I liked the concept, but I felt it was a bit too long. As someone very familiar with Sailor Moon it got to the point where it seemed you were just making an epic summary of that story arc.

Size and quality - my gift, my curse...

I can say this: I used almost the best source there is - American progressive DVDs. And even they are "dirty"; correct contrast and colors but image has "noise" because of its age, probably (13 years?). More compression will only increase noise. I think the quality is very good for THIS anime. New anime has digital source - it can be perfect which saves bitrate... And I didn't want to buy new Japanese DVDs only to make this AMV.
These are my thoughts about technical part...

:D Very happy you watched it anyway! From start to finish.

 The video is long - that's what I wanted (after it started to grow) - LOTS of my favorite non-japanese music somehow connected together. And I am happy about the way I managed to connect it - telling a nice anime story using some similarities with non-japanese movies since the music is also non-japanese.

I didn't get to watch it ALL yet though...I only got to see the first 10 minutes. Don't worry, I'll watch the whole thing and leave you an OP for it.

I rather enjoyed it. It was long, but that wound up working quite well. Like what has been said already however, it does appear to simply encapsulate that arc of the series in a short video. As a fan of the series I'd watch it again, but thats really about it.

:) OK, I got the point, it's just funny to hear that there is something not big about my video.
