House - I used to watch it regularly until I missed a few weeks and stopped turning on my television.

Judge Judy - I still catch snips of this since my mom watches it daily. JJ's such a bitch.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Series. I never saw it on television, but my sister in law lent me a season and I rented the rest from Netflix. I had a lot of fun watching Willow's evolution. She's the only reason I watched up until Spike went nuts. That was funny, too.

Sex in the City - Another I never saw on television. I only get one channel. My mom had two seasons on tape and lent them to me when I was in college. I wouldn't mind picking up some newer seasons and seeing what happened to the characters.

X-files - I never followed this on tv because I couldn't stand the whole alien thing. But I've been renting it to get the monster-of-the-week episodes. Those are fun.

Night Rider - Yes, I only watch old things. I used to follow this one on television, then my brother started buying the tapes - he realized he wasn't interested in vhs anymore so all his tapes went to me. I still own a vcr. 8-)

I'd follow more series, but I got tired of commercials and only having one channel. I can't remember the last time I turned off the "line in" option on my tv.

Yeah, I was watching that a lot last year on TV, until they started to get into Mulder's story, and then continued it forever even after he was gone. Every ep I saw was either with Mulder obsessed about his sister or with T-1000 and Skully following Mulder's legacy, and I hate T-1000 now. I still watch whenever they play older eps.

The show died with Mulder.

The only shows I've been watching on a consistent basis are Heroes, Scrubs, 30 Rock, and Hana Yori Dango Live-Action (you did say non-anime, not just U.S. shows). Though there are several shows that I will almost always watch if I happen to see them on, including the Daily Show, Good Eats, World Series of Poker (even if I've already seen them :\ ... I suck...), Conan, South Park, and Sarah Silverman (feel the same way about it as you Hsien, but there are certain moments that I find myself chuckling at each time).

the only tv i watch thats on tv now is House... after the second season it wasnt so dead on structured like the first, and they are shaking alot up in the 3rd season...

the TV i used to watch was stuff like X-Files (but i couldnt keep up with the "conspiracy"),

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek The Next Generation, at one point i was into Star Trek Voyager as well, but it started out not so good and went quickly down hill imo... unlike DS9 which started out not so good but only got better as the series went along...

Xena/Hercules (till they got really stupid)

used to watch alot of sitcoms like Fraiser, Caroline in the City, and i used to like Friends till it got more than stupid...

I remember watching Babylon 5 for a long time...

and since you said not anime, heres some american toons i like:

Fairly Odd Parents and Foster's Home For Imaginairy Friends are my favorite cartoons that are still shown on TV.. I would watch Avatar if i knew when they would show it, but chances are slim on that as i dont have cable... im also ammused by My Life as a Teenage Robot, Power Puff Girls, and Danny Phantom...

I used to like Ren and Stimpy, Doug, and Rugrats (before they started adding babies and growed up and stuff), AAAHH! Real Monsters.. and Rocko's Modern Life..

Darkwing Duck (im sure everyone knows that by now) Animaniacs is still one of my favorites, most of the Disney Afternoon cartoons: Ducktales, Gummy Bears, Gargoyles (even after i got lost on where they were at), Bonkers, Aladdin TV series, more recent: Lilo and Stitch the series, Timon and Pumba...

Adult Swim - Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Harvey Birdman, Robot Chicken, Sealab 2021 and the small bits i have seen of Metalocplypse (spelled wrong im sure) and Venture Brothers are some of my favorites on adult swim, I also like Family Guy and Futurama no matter how many times they re-run them, but i dont have cable, so i dont get to watch them often at all... (i have lots of DVDs O: heh)

Aeon Flux - i have the dvds now but i remember "staying up all nite" just to watch it on i think it was "Midnight Carnavle" or something i dont remember it was MTV though... neat show..

South Park is something i have been trying to catch up with too..

aparently there is alot of tv that im missing out on? i donno O.o i havent watched TV in years... but nothing seems to catch my interest either

Yes! TNG - I used to read the novels in high school. Recently I went on a renting spree for that one (really like netflix). I followed it for Data, Geordie, Beverly, and Worf so I pretty much stopped after the series ended. I heard Worf popped up in one of the other shows, but it's not the same without my favorite characters all together on one ship.

Eh I don't watch a ton of tv. If I just flip something on it tends to be either the History or Discovery channel or MTV/VH1. The only show I used to keep up with was Formula D, this drifting show. :P

this show is serious business.
KioAtWork: I'm so bored. I don't have class again for another half hour.
Minion: masturbate into someones desk and giggle about it for the remaining 28 minutes

he popped up on deep space nine and married Jadzia Dax O.o

i had the SN a long time before the pairing, and "got hell for it in the trekkie aol chat rooms" after... :/

but all of my favorite characters were on DS9 so i guess it doesnt matter anyways...

trekkies bitch about consistancy, but yet SOME refuse to believe that DS9 existed O: right now theres a discussion on one of my yahoo groups about the Worf/Riker/Troi thing and i just wanna go in and say "hey you guys, ya know worf's a widower right? dont forget he got married on DS9!!!" but i think that it would go in one ear and out the other.. O.o bah@nemesis?

ps... im a huge dork O:

Kosher salt! Other than Good Eats, Ace of Cakes, Ham on the Street, and South Park, I don't really watch much TV -- and usually that's stuff I've set to record onto my computer. I'm trying to watch more Psych, but that's about it...I guess I like fluffy TV.
