I can safely say that I was not at all impressed by this video in any way. I was on skype with Kristyrat when I was watching this video, and I seriously had to pause it a few times to catch my breath... I mean aside from my hysterical laughter after seeing the "Ayato@web" logo, I had to stop it again a few times to ask what I was seeing was real. I have seen some interesting stuff coming from you, but this has seriously made me doubt your capabilities and sense of style.
For one the lack of font integration was seriously disturbing. I mean the colors don't match at all with the scenery. And the font itself looks like its straight out of a B-Type horror movie poster created by some crack smocking redneck (I'm sure Microsoft had some of those designing some of they're fonts). So basically I question your resources as to find a more fitting font as well. So aside from the font itself and the lack of integration (*cough* blending modes might help a little if your lazy *cough*), the texts in the actual video them selfs were simply put really fucking lame. The focus is completely taken away from the actual "essence" of the lines, simply because of the barbaric use in this case. 0:43- Then one proceeds as to make a completely static mask. Showing this kid crying for 3 full seconds, while the rest still is synced behind it. I mean seriously can someone get this emo piece of shit off my for ground? I want to see the video damnit. Then the lame text comes popping up again. I was already coughing really fucking loud at this point btw. I mean seriously how am I seposed to take those lines serious when I'm cracking up over the font... Anyway enough bitching about the font and colors and what not. Lets go into the scratching section over here shall we? 0:57 - Enjoying your delirium there I see? Nothing wrong with using plugins of cource but none the less. Do you really think that such a grungy distort (video malfunction) go's along well with the audio? One would be better off with actually scratching the actual scenes with a heavy motion blur on it. Anyway let us continue with the child labor.. uhm I mean lip syncing... I mean how long can one look at one angle of someone's chin? Despite the fact that I absolutely hate the use of lip sync in here I still have to question its variety. Along with that that the masks are not at all color corrected and still show traces of they're background. But oke I'm getting in way over my head here.

I mean I don't know if its bad encoding or bad re encoding but damn. Along with that there were some serious macro"flooding" area's in the video. And you know what? I'm actually going to call it a day. I got people coming over early tomorrow so yeah. Hit me up on skype sometimes so we can actually get into things more. Since this seems a rather one sided discussion right now. And I haven't gotten the chance to talk to you at all for a long time. Along with that I'm expecting allot of "fanboy burn" from this alone.
