That one's an acid trip...

"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

personally my favorite effects are very very simple (for the most part)
first of all just simple fades
<vidid>
mostly crossfades... but be carefull about how they end! It's REALLY terrible when you don't leave enough 'lead' at the end/ begining of your clip for a crossfade, you may think 'nobody'd catch it'. They don't usually recognize it, but ppl catch it. Also you MAY not want you crossfade to go all the way! sometimes it looks better if it only goes up to 70 and then stops (something Premeire Pro users can rub in regular premeire users' faces!! if your editor doesn't support this type of feature, I did it manually useing transitions and rubberbands before pro).
SOMEBODY recently made a comment about fades being BAD. I disagree. It's the END of fades that can get annoying.
however,
<vidid>
is fade to black city!! DO NOT follow Willen's lead ;p (jmo but EW!!!)
I think this one I called crossfade city
<vidid>
the other one I like I never quite figured out... it has to do with time and fades to black and... BSP apparently
<vidid>
and
<vidid>
all stuff you can do on your windows movie maker... no need for lense flairs -_-
