I looks strange. The music is powered with happienes and fun, but the animes show a other side... But the cuts and all other things are great.

Aw, that was sweet. It's sad that your girlfriend doesn't like anime, because I think she should watch this. ^^

I didn't really like the song, but the editing was very smooth and precise, and it was fun to watch. More thoughts later, of course. Nice job, Ben.

Beyond the Clouds footage is slightly squished.

Good use of VoaDS clips. I find most VoaDS AMVs dead boring (slow pans of scenes where there's already no movement), so this is refreshing.

It has been already used together (if you mean the 2 animes) for example by <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... 0">this</a> guy. Technical-wise it's a lot worse than sKy's, but somehow it has a lot more feelings in it - i recommend it to you all, there is an english subbed version as well, but the quality is even worse in that for some reason.

I didn't really feel the connection between the animes or the song in your amv sKy, i'll tell you my thoughts later. I usually like your amvs, but i was just displeased with this.

Pretty good Ben. I think you did The Place Promised justice. I've never seen VoaDS so i can't comment on that...

And did you somehow hack my recycle bin from late 2005? A lot of the edits you used for Place Promised I used in a scrapped video before I made "The Place We Promised." o.O

It's refreshing to see Shinkai's works used in this kind of way with more upbeat music. The editing was simple and I enjoyed it. So yeah, nice work
