Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

New Amv, my first
I made a naruto- eye of the tiger AMV, and I know that people will say "everyone does that"
But most people center it around rock lee/ sasuke, and the ones that do naruto don't show the three fights that I chose -Haku, Neji, Sasuke. I chose these because he becomes one with the fox, and it fits the songs title:P.
ok I uploaded to this site, but it is still an mp4 file, therfor you need to open with something like zoom video VLC or divx, not a standard WMP or winamp.

thanks for helping me figure this stuff out:P

Aye, if you don't know how to upload and you haven't already seen it, here's a guide that spells everything out, with pics!

thanks for the tips on getting it on here. Because of making the title and stuff before anything was going I had some hits before it even actually existed:P

Not quite sure why you're talking about your youtube link when trying to upload it. Uploading your AMV onto the org's local server involves uploading it onto a ftp server. I'm guessing you're trying to use it as a direct download link (I wouldn't be to surprised if they blocked youtube as a link)?
Regardless, if you want to distribute your vids to the org and have them actually be watched, don't use youtube and the quality just plain sucks compared to what it can be. Upload your vid onto either a file site like megaupload (just an example, not saying to actually use that) or onto the org's local server (personally I prefer the local server unless you have your own hosting). The tutorial spells everything out, though for the FTP part, you can use a program like FileZilla as another option, or use the FTP address with the username and password included.
(If I've gotten anything wrong, apologies as I'm relatively new here too)
