A lot of people seem to forget these days that this website's stated aim, first and foremost, is to act as a catalog of every AMV ever made. Not just the good ones, and not just the ones that can be hosted here (hello, H-videos).

Heck, until 2003, there was no such thing as local hosting here. The editors had to find their own webspace on which to host their videos, and the viewers had to hope the editors had direct/indirect links available (that weren't broken).
