Gits second movie was not very good.

I really like

Gunslinger Girl

Last Exile

Haibane Renmei

Noir

VanDread

a couple of rather unknowns that I think are very good:

Area 88

L/R Licenced by Royalty

Amazing short pieces:

The Place Promised in our Early Days

Kakurenbo
Where did you say I'm going?.... And what am I doing in a handbasket?

It also ain't anime (by this site's definition, anyway)
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Hardly any of some of my favorite series are on there, but I don't care, more for ME to enjoy. :)

PFFT, FMA is number one? The anime was a huge disappointing drek. Manga all the way. Again with CB, I thought it was a FUN series, but come on, 26 episodes and 20 of them are filler.

Elfen Lied

Post by Diclonius16 » Mon Feb 12, 2007 8:27 pm

Has anybody ever heard of any of these titles? They are really good ones
Elfen Lied
Serial Experiments Lain
Gunslinger Girl
SHE the ultimate weapon
and others, I just can't remember my entire list of 35+ so far.
So what if you can see the darker side of me?
No one will ever change this animal I have become.
Help me believe it's not the real me,
Somebody help me tame this animal I have become!

If it's any help, the 3 anime currently airing in Japan this season that have recieved probably the most blog attention on the internet are Death Note, Kanon 2006, and Code Geass.

I confess, I didn't expect Kanon to be my favorite of the bunch, but Kyoto Animation has only proven their excellence even further.
