Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Violence! at the Ramen Shop

Post by Kai Stromler » Fri Jan 19, 2007 8:32 am

Ok, the thread title is the only lame thing about this video. It's lame because I couldn't use the video title for it, because then people would get mad because they don't get any Kreator until the final credits, like I was when Warheart announced that 'Eternal Tears of Sorrow' video that didn't have any actual music from Eternal Tears of Sorrow in it. >(

Anyway:

Riot Of Violence
music: Municipal Waste - "Sweet Attack"
anime: Muteki Kanban Musume
runtime: 1:13
download: local, 22 MB (xvid/mp3)

This video was punched up in the space of about 6 hours because I was getting to the point where if I didn't, I would probably have stopped doing AMVs altogether -- and I still wanted to make the DepreCon deadline, though that would be with a depressing video about 3 times as long as this, and you can't edit one of those in six hours while drinking beer and canned coffee and listening to Kreator. (And yes, there is some Kreator in the video, wait for the credits.) (Unfortunately, I didn't end up making said deadline and haven't really done anything since.)

It was done on 24th October, but held back until now so that I could do a h264 encode (which I never got around to), and also so that Kalium could have some fresh kill for CJN XIII. I decided to chuck the h264 idea because this video is still only 22 MB for a clean print going at full motion through insane speeds.

If you liked SH106, you'll probably also like this one. If you're one of those people who think crowdsurfing on boogie boards is retarded instead of awesome, then you probably will not.

I could and should have released this video two months ago, but didn't; by way of apology, please accept this omake demotivator.

Apology accepted. Not quite as much fun as SH106, but still amusing.
