My fault, I was actually just exporting a low quality clip. However, the problem is that there is a noticeable drop in quality in the video when I drag and drop it from from the top left menu to the timeline. I uploaded a screenshot,

The window on the left is from the source, and the window on the right (bad quality), is from the timeline. There's probably a really easy way to fix this but I don't know how because I'm new to this. Please help!

At first I just selected the project default it had, I think DV-NTSC Standard 48kHz, which I later changed to Widescreen 48kHz which still didn't work. I checked and found out that my monitor supports the resolutions 1680x1050 and 1280x720, but I couldn't find an option for 1680x1050, so I selected Adobe HD-SDI 720p 60, and the quality seemed to be a lot better, so I decided to test it out and export a clip, but the clip only played sound, so I'm wondering if I'm missing a codec. Is there a site where I could possibly find one? Thanks.
