Is there a way I can work Vegas 6.0 video with WMM?

I mean like.. since WMM is easier to use and I'm supernoob at Vegas, I wanna know if there's any way where I can make it so that when I import the video, it will have the audio & video on two different lines rather than one on WMM.

I think they mean that they want the layout of vegas to be similar to WMM? Why not just take the time to learn the program, it's really an awesome program if you work with it. o.O Why would you go back to WMM?

If you mean you want to know whether there's a way to get WMM to give you more than one video track, then the answer is no. WMM has never supported multi-track editing.

No, I mean, when you import videos into WMM (you can't open it unless it's WSMM or something) and you drag it into the track down there, the audio and video are both in ONE track. Is there a way to save it so I can import it and that so the audio & video clips are on diff. panels?

In WMM or in Vegas? I assume you mean in vegas....or else this would be inthe other forum...
In wmm, the audio and video are both on two seperate tracks, and in vegas the audio and video are on two seperate tracks, the only diff being that you can add diff audio and video tracks inbetween. I don't know what happened where you only get one track...

I think I know what you mean,
the original sound from the video source moves with the video, and you want to seperate them? Is that what you mean?

i think they are wanting to create a wmm project file and wanting to open it in Vegas... if thats the question then the answer is no.

yeah. kind of like what JaddiziaDax said, except the other way around. Saving it a format that WMM can open up (without being imported) on Vegas.
