I'm a school teacher.
I teach High School students, focusing mainly on computers, and graphic design. AMVs are part of my class, so at least I get to have fun some times. When other teachers are out (a LOT) I teach weightlifting, government and used to do drivers ed. Since I'm the only guy in the building that has any inkling at all about computers, I'm also the defacto tech support and IT man for the school. Lucky for me, I get lots of perks that come with teaching, such as free (licensed thank you!) software for pretty much everything, including photoshop, premiere and lightwave. Mostly I enjoy what I do and have fun. I have lots of autonomy in my position as to what I feel like doing through the day so long as it's not illegal.
It doesn't pay a lot, but I enjoy it, mostly. The only really hard part is that I don't really like most teenagers. Actually, I can barely stand them. It's a good thing it's not neccesary for me to actually care all that much about them, unless I want to.

Build a man a fire, and he will be warm for a night. Set a man on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

I wipe old, demented asses. Srsly. It beats the hell out of a retail/fast food job, especially when my real life social interaction quota is practically non-existant. I'd like a job where I interact with no one, don't have anybody breathing down my neck, and my creative ability can remain at a autistic, not artistic, level. As long as the pay lets me live as I am now, definitely not rich, but not lacking in anything noticable, sign me up.
I'm a Registered Nursing Assistant for a Dementia Home.

It seems like that most ppl that posted here already have a job or do have ambitions that are quite impressive. I wish I'd be like that, but unfortunately I do nothing out of the ordinary. I study Japanese linguistics and European history at one of Germany's biggest universities but I hope that I can replace European history with either English Journalism or German Journalism ... or actually Media Production. But the last option won't work out as it seems. Nothing to get a good job with I know and everyone keeps telling me that all day long.

I'm a licensed veterinary technician - a very inflated way of saying that I'm a nurse in a veterinary hospital. My day to day includes pretty much anything a regular nurse is capable of, only my patients have four legs and fur.
Okay, well, a few of them have scales...and I guess the snakes don't have legs...but meh, you get the picture.
On the side I do some modeling for a couple of local photographers, and some acting, but none of that brings in much of a paycheck. It's another hobby, just like the video making.

After Graduating high-school I was drafted to the army for 3 years, got bored and made maps for ungreatful commanders. Later on I was an armed escort for trips (mainly school trips but also groups from abroad and whatnot), as every groups bus need a guard in Israel
. Quit my job because it was colliding too much with my editing school curriculum and got a new one for a company that studies consumer generated media as configurator and QA-ist . Also, hopefuly, in a month I'll have enough money to leave the house, while not living in the street

How much does it cost to live in Irael anyways? I remember watching the news, about how the government in Israel was offering $300,000-400,000, converted into USD I assume, to move out of palenstine and the people there were treating that sum like it was nothing at all.

Not sure if the cost of living is higher, but real estate prices are quite murderous. At least compared to most places I lived, anyway. I know the little apartment in Haifa where my cousin lived was worth around $300,000 (they were renting it though).
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
