I'm new to the forums

hi everyone. i am new to the forums and new to amv's. i watch heaps of them on a daily basis (especially FMA and death note), but i don't know how to make them. i've heard of a couple of programs like movie maker and adobe premier. i have movie maker so i tried it but it didn't work. should i use adobe premier and where can i get it?

if you could answer this thread it would be most appreciated as i would love to make amv's.

First thing's first, read the forum rules.

Then, in regards to getting you started on making AMVs, check out this thread for an overview, and some of the guides to get you on your way. If you're looking for a program to work with, there's a list of what's out there here. That should be enough to get you going, and if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask!

You need to import clips, arrange them how you want, then save it to make a movie.

i know but it didn't import the dvd.
