Edit button in Donator's forum

I know our whole view on the edit button, but if we've stooped to a level where OT came back for people who paid for it, I think we paid enough to get an edit button, too.

Not really much to talk about here, just consider it? D:

(Not being a donator [yet] I can't really say much here. It would be cool for when I do get there, but using the same logic as why the rest of the forum doesn't have an edit function, I can see why the answer would be no)

I don't think we need an edit button there. I think it would open the door for the same sort of problems that closed the old OT, and I don't want that. It *would* be a perk to inspire more donators - those people who keep asking where the edit button is could be directed to the donator only forum. But I don't like the potential drawbacks of people being able to edit what they say in a forum where they can already say anything without being offtopic.

The old OT didn't have an edit button, so it didn't get abused.

And I really don't see why anyone in the donator's forum would abuse it. Most of the flamers/trolls/what have you are proud of what they say and wouldn't take it back.

Only thing I could see being taken back are an OP's comments where s/he got massively flamed in return, or someone who asked where to download something illegal.
