WMM doesn't like my song
I've imported a song into WMM and it worked fine on the timeline. But now the audio simply doesn't work in my project. The song plays fine if I click on it in the Collections but it just doesn't play on the timeline. Any ideas why?

It's best not to edit with MP3 files. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't (not unlike DivX/XviD video files). You're going to want to (ideally) rip the song directly from a CD, or, if you don't have the CD, convert the song to an uncompressed .wav file.

I've tried all that. I think the problem was caused by my own stupdity and WMM being generally stupid. I manged to accidentally overwrite some of the source footage and my attempt to replace it backfired badly.

Sweetdeily and I have never had a problem with MP3's in WMM, They work better than any other format (adds) for me, I've heard that they cause sync issues in premiere and other programs tho.CrackTheSky wrote:It's best not to edit with MP3 files. Admittedly I've never had a problem with MP3s in WMM, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.autraya wrote:Sweetdeily and I have never had a problem with MP3's in WMM, They work better than any other format (adds) for me, I've heard that they cause sync issues in premiere and other programs tho.CrackTheSky wrote:It's best not to edit with MP3 files.
