A very impressive video in regards to editing, poweful, piercing and almost overwhelming. You did an excellent job with the different compositions, masking, etc. and the pace of the video on the whole was totally unforgiving, really hardcore stuff.

The biggest improvement I think you could make to this video would be in regards to technical details, little fixes that you either overlooked or just went about improperly. Primarily the aspect ratio and the general video quality. The AR I know for Rahxephon is 4:3, more often than not 640x480 resolution, rather than at 720x526 resolution and god knows what AR which you encoded in :P It's a fairly simple fix, and I was actually surprised that you were able to pull that off with x264, since it isn't mod 16 (unless I'm mistaken : x) But yeah, that threw the video off a little, since the picture was a bit 'squished'. As for the video quality, I dunno if it's the original source you used, or if it's just lazy encoding, but maybe experimenting around a little more next time (though iirc, you had a lot of troubles encoding this) will yield better results.

But honestly, really damn solid editing, there's no question about that, just working a little on the techincal aspect could improve it that little bit more : up :

My God... The level of angst in this video is almost lethal :O

Seriously - Good job on this. Good editing and effects with pace of this song made it a really interesting vid.

The only crappy part were the texts appearing on screen (Pain, Vain etc). They did not have well chosen font , and they weren't well merged with the background either.

:o I like what you did there. The editing and effects you used really emphasized the idea of insanity. I also liked how you used footage in an unusual way; a lot of the scenes wouldn't seem very crazy or disturbing the way they they are presented in the anime, but you really made them seem that way and that was totally awesome. Good job!

this is a tough one for me. because while a majority of this was good, you missed ALOT of potential edits.
4/5, but just barely

this has motivated me to download your next release. keep up the good work

Good stuff, though whatever you use to encode in h.264 hates my computer.

Yes and no. there where little things that had to be fixed, but I was too lazy, or let me say: too sic of the amv. There are some things, that are willed. I mean 1 frame things, there are things that are tolerated (TV scence: when he throws the chair the TV isn´t comnpletly filled) and "bugs":
Sometimes images jump a bit. I was... *few* I was overasked where thyis was comeing from.
Primarily the aspect ratio and the general video quality. The AR I know for Rahxephon is 4:3
First time to deal with pure 720x576 PAL DVDs and... (kill me) I didn´t had the amvapp pn my system (the video paid for that!)
AR which you encoded in Razz
Seriously? I have NO idea. Every setting of the project files where set with the pixel-ratio that it is finaly 4:3. :? I missed something, but what?
I wanted that it is really fullscreen when you play it on screen without black bars. Just like I watch DVDs at home.
the picture was a bit 'squished'
The footage generating is crappy. I´m absolutly not pleased. I´ve read threw Fluxmeister´s DVD Tutorial and... well I saw things, that are only in the amv app avaible and PAL is hard to work (for me) wihout amvapp. The was the biggest mistake this time. The XviD will be 4:3 (720*540), maybe I replace the actual file also.
But honestly, really damn solid editing, there's no question about that, just working a little on the techincal aspect could improve it that little bit more : up :
Thank you and I will.

Thank you. I found out that text design is a big weakpoint.

x2

nice video, great work on the effects Bauzi, I really liked them since they seemed a bit more original than what I get to see in most AMVs (or it's just the fact that they aren't timed to crappy geek music, even though I'd never thought I could enjoy something by Slipknot :p)
