AHHH HAH!!!!!!

There you are...ya bastard!!!

Going around flaunting this non sick video while my poor little loli's cry themsleves to sleep at night knowing they didn't win...knowing they could have tried harder...But YOUUUUUUUU....you made them cry...you took away their glory to be the Best Sick video of the year...I hope you are happy with yourself..and just know while you sleep safely one night they will come and get you so you better sleep with one eye open.

But all in all I enjoy the video..heh..thought it was pretty funny..will say don't know why they would call it sick..was cute more than sick..but I guess the phrase "Don't put it in your mouth." just sent the alarms to blaring when the judges were going thru them so you got shot to the hentai panel. Heh..trust me we attended abit of the judging sessions for AWA expo..and they had a list of all the videos submited..and just about everything we submit this year was marked H for hentai so we had almost nothing that could be shown during the daytime..lol We of CBR are also known for being locked out of the Best Sick Catagory..it happend to Addy for the last few years and I guess it was my turn this year..so Congrats on the win..I will have to be much sicker next year i guess.

Oh..and about the censorship..heh..not likely..AWA had a very intresting setup (I should know cause I ran the computer both nights we did the late night block) but Friday night we did it they had computer issue so we didn't have access to any videos that were submited for expo because they hadn't been transfer over so we had access to older stuff (2005 and back)and a few newer videos but couldn't get what we wanted..then Sat night they decided they wanted to change computers..so we had to run the AMV from another computer which means we had access to newer stuff and not older stuff. So we(myself and AWA tech guy) basically spend like 3 hours transfering files over to the computer so we could have more than like 5 videos to play. So sadly between all that transfering and the drunk rambling of my studio members you video didn't make it into a playable form until about 4am..and finally made it into the playlist around 5. So yah..um..sorry about that it was my first time running a system like that.

Anyway..good times..now you must keep the Best Sick Title until next year..but i will come up with something to take it back.

You are just not allowed to win anymore that is it...when a video comes up with you name on it..it is flagged as indecent to start with..so they won't even allow you to enter Expo anymore.

As for the award, honestly, I didn't think it was really that sick either. Frankly, I wasn't even expecting it to be bumped to the late showing (even Aqua's Emo vid got bumped, which was even more surprising). What's more, I didn't even know that Best Sick WAS a category (I thought they just made it up on the spot) So I wasn't really trying to steal away any titles from you. Certainly, there are other videos (plenty by yourself) that are better suited to the title, and I wont try to stop you from taking it next year

AMV_4000: I don't know what you think you saw, but your stuff was not "automatically" marked as hentai. From my pooled crib sheet here, out of the twenty-something non-broken videos we got from you, the only ones marked as hentai were "Addicted to H-IC", "Hentai Polka Your Eyes Out," Ileia's Birthday Tribute, "Pu**y all night," and "Tardo Vs. Addy 2 - Head and Sh (column limit)" were marked as "H." Of your vids, "No Limits" and "So Sick of Ex-Girlfriends" were seriously considered for awards. Several others were borderline hentai, but it was essentially a non-issue since we only mark those to warn our staff against showing them in the daytime blocks, and we knew you'd be showing them during your own late-night panels. Plus, "No Limits" and "So sick of Ex Girlfriends" were shown on Friday, and "Off to Nightmare Land" was shown on Saturday. If you saw that all your vids were marked "G", that stood for "Guest," meaning "Guests expected to play this vid at their panel."

Secondly, the presence or absence of a "Sick" or "Twisted" award has nothing to do with the "Pop will eat itself" award. "Sick" was dropped that year because the judging group voted to eliminate the category entirely rather than give out an award. (If you really want the individual critique, I can dig it out for you.) "Twisted" went to the masturbation-Green Day "I was all by myself" vid (though I may be getting the year mixed up... it's strangely missing from the official tally). MJ didn't recieve the "sick" award the following year due to a close vote. (I was particularly pissed, since I thought he'd massively improved in that one, but got outvoted anyway.) Third.... dude, what the hell was up with those half-hour long monsters you sent us? Or maybe that was Chaosprojects. What did you think was gonna happen when you sent us one of those?

For everyone: Look, to win the award, first the video has to be good, then it has to be sick or twisted. Don't expect to win just by slapping the worst hentai footage you can find together with an offensive song... that logic doesn't work for action videos (hence DBZ & Linkin Park), & it's not gonna work here. You've gotta have a good idea behind it, good audio/video theme matching, not go on too long, not fall apart due to laziness halfway through, appropriate tech, etc. We had 26 hentai videos go through this year, and Haunter won out NOT because he had the sickest footage (that distinction went to someone who didn't even want themselves named on their official entry form) but because he had a good idea, presented it well, made it funny as hell, and made it SHORT enough to sustain the funny, resulting in a vid that definitely deserved to win something. If it hadn't been "Sick" it would have been "Twisted", if not that, then some "Public Announcement" award.

The award is Best Sick, not Worst or Most Sick. The competition is to make a good video, not an arbitrary repulsive one.

As for why it wasn't screened, two reasons. 1) WAY too much open-mouth on crotch action for a family-friendly (PG-13) audience we're trying to play to and, more importantly 2) We were running DESPERATELY short on time in main and had to cut SOMETHING. Aqua's Emo vid got cut largely for the second reason as well. (Though the handful of ej didn't help.)

lol, well.. chaos said they were, and im pretty sure it was a joke.. atleast thats how i took it.. and as for the dropping twisted that year, that was a long running joke between me and pilk. i know a lot of my vids werent marked hentai. i still woulda liked to see tub-girl win sick in 04... :-p
i just hope you guys liked Field Trip, storytime, and Addimix... lol

LoL..Wow..looks like i caused abit of drama with my joke...heh..Sorry wagner..we are trying to drum up the anything about the sick and twisted catagory..it was just a joke that had pretty much run between all of us in the studio...but a joke is pretty much all it is...I love the Expo contest I love the Sick and Twisted Catagories..but that was also part of the joke since they did drop sick and twisted we just joke alot about that Addy can't win it anymore...so I never cast doubt upon peoples decision cause i am not that kinda person..So if you pick a video to win..heh..good times..I was just having a little fun with Haunter since I won Best Sick in 05 that he took my title away this year..so now i have to get it back...The joke about alot of Add's videos being marked as H heh...well from our stuido we put in alot of hentai videos for the late night panel..so they ended up in the expo contest because that was how they were submitted, when they were to go in to the latenight panel. So I am sorry if my joke was kinda took out of context cause i did intend it to but just a Ha ha funny joke. Just wanted to do abit of rib poking with Haunter to have some fun and setup some friendly competition for next year.
