And here it is, my 4th video. I love all of my amvs but i am especially proud of this one as it is the first of my AMV's which incorperates both near perfect action and lip synch. As with all my AMV's this is made with my trusty Windows Movie Maker as neither my wallet nor computer are capable of supporting an upgrade. Anyway, about the amv itself...

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is an awsome series but i have noticed that pretty much all the AMV's made about it are either comedy or romance, and considering some pretty amazing (and sometimes hilarious) action scenes in it i decided to do an AMV incorperating as many of my favorite ones as possible to a song which i beleive fits them perfectly.

hmmmn not bad... JCD did a vid to this song didnt he?
either way i see sparkles in my brain while watching this... (maybe thats the "original video"?) and something twirling around a chicks wrists?

but your vid was cute... kinda random and fun... i think the action sync could be stronger at some points... and the ql could use some work... but other than that really not bad...

fix the aspect ratio, and clean up the macroblocking and it would be good O.o

thanks for the compliment, although i'm still a newb in video editing so i only understood about half of what you said, what's ql, aspect ratio and macroblocking?

ql is short for Quality... thats my own short hand sorry O.o

Aspect ratio is like the difference between full screen and wide screen...
your aspect ratio was closer to full screen when it should have been widescreen

Widescreen aspect ratio

wide screen streatched to full screen (bad)

macroblocking:

see the squares in it? thats macroblocking O.o

ah, thanks, i have no idea how to fix any of that stuff though lol, i have pretty primative equipment so the best i can do is hope i get a good capture off a tv ep or dvd and then i just try and synch it as best i can on wmm. when i get out of college in a year or so and actually get a paycheck i'll be able to get some nicer equipment and start pumping out some high quality amvs

for this being only your 4th video, the editing was actually pretty solid for the first half of the video. went down hill from there.
and as said above, you need to work on the technical apsect
