Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

This video was made as part of the AMV - Signs of Light and Hope MEP which can be found here (for download [not local yet]) and here (ORG entry)

Video Description:
The premise of this video was to tell a story of a hesitant love, two young people somewhat unsure of their feelings for each other, and in the end letting go of their restraints and going for it. I do hope you get that feeling from this video.

There is a bit of fancy editing that hopefully you don't notice :3. Anti-lipsynching. I did my best to take out all the lip movement in the video (there are a couple places that have lip-movement but it's not too noticible). There was one clip that was 3 seconds that took 20 minutes to de-lip >_> (and I hope it looks so good you can't tell the mouth was ever moving in the first place :D ). The reason for doing all this was to show more emotion through action rather than words (and the lips moving took away from that a bit). So, very little lip movement in this video.

Rent the Musical has very beautifully composed songs, and I've wanted to make an AMV to one of them ever since I bought the motion picture soundtrack.

Please do enjoy! This video is available both locally and indirectly(on megaupload). Quick comments (and OPs!) are always appreciated ^^
Thank you for taking the time to view this announcement and (hopefully) the video.
