Well, in that case I could mention how "A Song For Everyone", which came out in 2003, started the whole segmented video trend (a trend which gave rise to such videos as "AMV Hell" and "Real Ninjas").

Except that I didn't make it. RubyHatchet did.

But seriously, kusoyaro invented AMVs, when he was born his mother said "either do something with ur life or i'm gonna slap u." So he invented amvs ....and his mother slapped him

I was hoping my "drugs and anime" thing would stick, but i'm just getting started so there's no saying it's gona be a trend yet. I'll prob phail like always. But i can dream of a better world,can't i?

If that's what Your's is about, I just fucking started a trend! woo!

No, the only trend I started was being thanked in like 5 videos for beta testing. There are like 3 - 5 videos dedicated to me, I swear. "Because I choose to" is dedicated to me, even. X|

I'd like to think I started the YYH trend, but I know I started the Kurama/Hiei trend that lasted for at least a year or two. I know I started that one because for a year 80% of the videos for the pairing were using footage taken directly from my vids, and I saw them all because I was downloading every new vid for the pairing. I could take Sarah's advice and consider myself flattered, but really, it was ridiculous for a while there. By the time Cartoon Network picked up the series, there were more general vids for the anime so it wasn't as noticeable. Still, I could take credit for about half the Kurama/Hiei vids that have been hosted on the org for over two years. I ripped the footage for them, that has to count inspiring the trend, 'making it easy' or something.

*cough* ahem ...yes.... drugs are bad ...and my lets go smoke some pot video demotes the usage of the drug MJ (not mexicanjunior, the other one) which i spend my life protesting against ... -_-;. baka, y would i have a pot leaf in my sig and tell people not to do drugs. think these things through man.
