Anime with people coughing...

Okay. I have this song that's just absolute crack. It's called 'I've Got Asthma' by the Toy Dolls...it's absolutely ridiculous, and I love it. They pronounce asthma like ass fat, damn it!

Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is that I'd like to make an AMV. However I am very much lacking in ideas for footage. So far my list includes that one part of Fruits Basket where Yuki has what I believe is an asthma attack. But the song nearly three minutes long, so I need more than that. If anybody knows of any animes with asthmatic characters who actually demonstrate said asthma, please let me know! (And if you could tell me what episode its shown in that'd be spiffy too.) Also, just anybody coughing, for any reason whatsoever.

well... basically any anime with anybody that's sick lol... like Excel Saga or De Capo (De Capo is a fansub only anime, meaning finding footage could be a bit hard)

Lucky for you there's nary a harem anime that does NOT have at least one sick girl lol.

Eagle in season 2 of Magic Knight Rayearth has moments where he coughs violently, later to the point of coughing up blood.

You could probably use a few scenes from Bleach during the Soul Society arc, where people are "suffocating" due to the strong energy of their opponents - Rukia has a moment where that happens, and Hanatarou actually collapses when they encounter Zaraki.

There's a guard in Naruto, during the chunin exams, who coughs every other word and looks incredibly sickly. He's around for a few episodes.

There's a 'nurse' girl in Labyrinth of Flames who might as well be asthmatic. Half the time she walks around with a 'drip machine' attached to her.

What episodes does that guy appear in? Like what numbers? I know it's during the Chunin exams, but I only watch Naruto sporadically so I have no idea how far along that is. I do know the guy's name though! It's Hayate! And that is an awesome name.

There are a few scenes in the later parts of the Fullmetal Alchemist which feature Homunculi having trouble breathing, then coughing, then reatching (but you don't need to show that part, of course).

And of course, there are countless fighting anime where someone gets smashed in the chest and coughs up blood.

Yeah, I think Ukitake (I think that's his name), the captain with the long white hair (Not Hitsugaya), he's always having periods of illness and results in coughing.
