Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

This is a case of:

A) I wanna make a video of Naruto cause I really wanted to

versus

B) But if I make one of Naruto there are SOOO many of them it's unlikely my video will get many views (burn out in the viewer market).

It's up to you what you want, if you want to make something that you love then go for it, if you are looking for mass support and a ton of fans either win the lottery or pick an anime isn't over done.

Thanks again guys, it probably looked like I didn't really take any of the advice, but I have taken all of it, in my future amv's (I'll likely still have time to make those for fun) I'll keep these things in mind. As far as steering away from naruto... Who knows! ;P

No but I totally see what you meant on that, any video will get flooded under the sheer mass of naruto vids out there lol, I was surprised that naruto was the biggest, I remember DBZ always being huge back in the day, o wellz.

Thanks again everyone!

i dont know how to edit posts on these forums so i'm double posting (omg forum no-noes)

just fyi... i ABSOLUTELY HATE windows movie maker, the only reason i used it for this is because I am reformating my laptop that had premier, I no longer have (well now i do, now that its done T-T) access to my avid labs at school, and the premier on THIS computer somehow got corrupted!

I would have waited but I just wanted to get it done you know?
*sigh*
WMM is my foe, not my friend. I hate it with a burning passion from my soul... I want my avid back! :x T-T
