This is very good for a first try. Many creators don't even get this far after their 3rd try.
The idea was original (if I understood it correctly), the voice-over was well placed to enhance the mood and the start (up to 0:51) built up tension nicely. Thanks in no small part to the voice-over, the meaning of the ending was different than so many other with the same ending and therefor quite unexpected.
My greatest objection is the scene choice after 0:51 up to 2:08. If in fact your idea was to do the vid as if it was a prophecy, the scenes seemed a bit random and didn't really seem to show the important points in Akira or even work up a feeling of coming doom. This made it lose the tension half way through. Another minor thing is that, although some scenes weren't placed ok, the editing is a bit bland. I know you did this on purpose and it doesn't really take away much from the mood, but it's just something that needs to be looked at.
As I said before this is a well done video, even if it wasn't your first. I hope to see more from you.
