heh yea, thanksMoonlight Soldier wrote:Haha, I've seen so many versions of this I forgot you hadn't released it yet. XD
I like it. And up with the use of scan lines

tooks the words right out of my mouth...jasper-isis wrote:About damn time somebody made a good Souske/Kaname relationship video. You've done a really good job portraying their parallel situations in TSR. In particular, I think this video is awesome because it underlines how they both realize for the first time what it means to really be apart. Both are in a state of deep confusion, though they express it in different ways. The deluge of memories serves to make everything more poignant (both for them and for us).
I also like the structure you used. It's not exactly linear, and it doesn't explicitly tell a story. In short, it fits the theme perfectly. Nice.
I thought the same thing when i was making the video actually.blaku92 wrote:I'd have to agree. This was pretty good, but I dunno -- didn't really seem to pack the punch (emotionally) that I wanted it to. It progressively got better as I watched it but then it kind of ended. I'm not completely caught up on this show, but you did a good job.
:-*kisanzi wrote:You already know my thoughts on this vid. By far one of my favorites in the Pro contest and its a shock it didn't get anything. I love the use of the TV screen and distortion, it all works so well to create a dramatic, so-close-yet-so-far-away atomosphere. I love it! Angst FTW!
Thanks palAtomx wrote:This is your best video, and easily the best FMP video. Excellent excellent excellent
yes you should >.>SenshiMamoru wrote:I should watch FMP someday. I loved this video, nice job with the tv effect too. I really enjoyed it.
thanks. The effect is realistic cause it is real. I used my DV camera to capture parts of the video outputed onto my tv screen. Most of the captures i've added a ffew filters to before and after capture.Bakadeshi wrote:wow, I think this might be the best FMP video, and probably the first I actually liked enough to keep that I've seen yet. Good work on this. I might have given it a vat guest award had I seen it before now.
Did you do the TV screen effects yourself, or was it a filter? It looked very realistic.
The japanese at the begining actually means more "Why arn't you here", wich kinda caught me off guard, since I pay more attention to the Japanese than the subs for stuff I understand ;p But I guess it does actually sound better in english as "Where are you".
Excellent work. Easily my favorite FMP video eva, and probably my favorite from you aswell.
As for the japanese, i had originally translated the phrase myself to "Why arent you here?" and consulted with a translator who translates the FMP novels to confirm it. I then decided that it didn't sound right so "Where are you?" was a better choice. it still fits so all is good. I really wanted to make that right. The audio for that line was acutally from a later episode.
Thanks again :p
Thanks :-*Nessephanie wrote:You already know that I love this video, I think it's your best video to date and I can't believe that it didn't win something at AWA. Great stuff scoot!

FMP Fumoffu was funny.
FMP TSR was really great as is your AMV.
I really liked TSR's more serious and dramatic mood (and awesome Tokyo Animation work) and you made a good use of these. Great editing btw.

Also the worst.
Yes.
It's the only Full Metal Panic vid I've ever seen (unless I saw one and forgot about it, but if it's not memorable enough for ME to remember, it's hardly worth it anyway.)
So, basically, what I"m saying is, good job. :O
