Re: From the Ashes (my last video)
I heard this and my eyes watered for a second. Sad to hear but I wish you luck with other future endeavors. You've done great with AMVs IMO, two videos of yours are on my top list, I've always liked your work. I wish more people had your style of mood synch. One of your videos I've found to be very angelic and gave me chills. Don't need to know your sad reasons for leaving so don't think I'll check your journal(well sad to me anyways)silver_moon wrote:it'll also be the last video I'll ever make.
Sorry on to the video.. well sadly I'll have to wait out on this. Any story FMA video I try to avoid because I haven't finished the series. When I decide to watch and finish it I'll probably get back to this. Good luck with everything else you do or plan to do. It's nice to go out with a bang so I don't blame you. On to more important things right. Anyway, take care. ^_^

Really good Work, as usual.
For your retirement, I just don't understand one thing. You tell that short projects aren't interesting for you, but it means you have time to create it. And if you have time to create short projects, you have time to create long projects, it's just a question of time. You can just edit sometimes when you want, without stress or anything else... Even if you need 3-4-5 months for a video (in my opinion), it's not a real problem ^^. hum, it was just my opinion.
Your "last" (:?: ) video Is really good

I always love your videos. So this announcement is both happy and sad.
New video!
Last video!
Technically, this is your most impressive one yet. I just finished watching FMA on DVD (after seeing it many times on TV) and many scenes in this video made me go, "wait, isn't Al/Rose/someone_else supposed to be in this scene?" The editing was flawless. And your twist on the story, very well done.
I'm glad you got this and "She's Just Oblivious" out before strolling off into the sunset.

To bad that your this is your last video, since I didn't even like it that much, the song was awesome but the anime and the overuse of fractal-noise and trapcodeshine killed it for me pretty much. Some of the scenes work quite well but overall it didn't convince me. I'm honest even if you might not be happy about it, but haven't read your journal yet (which will I do next) but maybe this will make you consider to try harder next time (if there will be a next time). But I like how you used the "Pokich Outro Style" to make sure everyone sees the masking, since I didn't see much of it in the most cases, so you get pluspoints for that. Still sad to see that this shall be your last video , I better read the journal and then watch a few of your older videos. But nonetheless I'll miss your videos they were always a reason to start up my PC.
