What would like to see

Finally, I got some free time and I want to do an music video. I really didn't want to ask, but just I just wanted to know what would be the best thing to put in a anime music video. I just was going to do some action stuff, because lip sinc usually isn't my thing, but hey ill try it that what people want to see.

What a broad question.

Different people want to see different things, so focus your question on a group. For example, a rap music fan that likes Naruto and Dragonball Z will want to see different things in a video than a pop music fan that likes Rizelmine and Sailor Moon.

Lower the size of your sample group, and you'll get better results.

what people like to see:

1) go to top 10% videos, goto reccomendations, go to underated threads

2) Watch all of them, copy the popular ones slavishly

3) ???

4) Profit/

4.5) Thread lock.

LOL to requiett. I was scrolling down the page and I just didn't expect to see that...funny stuff.

Anyway, I've been doing my own research lately because my next AMV will be the first one I've made since I've joined the org and I want to show that I can actually make good stuff if I try. Anyway, I've looked at a couple of the higher-rated stuff and here's what I've gathered as far as what videos become popular:

1.) Lots of good visual effects. In the end, we're all still dumb animals and we like pretty, flashing lights.

2.) In connection with #1, lots of overlays and Photoshopped Images.

3.) High Quality picture and sound...you will not succeed without it.

4.) Match an extremely popular anime (Naruto, FMA, etc.) with an extremely popular song (like something from Nickelback, Foo Fighters, or any of those mainstreamers). Avoid obscure animes and stick to general pop-rock songs. Music like rap or metal tends to only cater to one crowd or another

5.) One word: Comedy. If it's funny, it'll get downloaded.

And viola! You are now offically a sell-out! lol.

Personally I'd like to see more videos making fun of 9/11 victims, Katrina victims, Steve Irwins death, etc.

So you're complaint is NOT that my sig is inaccurate but rather that it's judging old videos?
