Um, any number of technical problems, most of which can be avoided by A, following the guides, and B, using DVDs instead of fansubs.

The non-technical problems generally involve not having any concept of beats, timing, or storytelling, and that's something only you can fix.

Cease and desist letters, if you become popular enough.

I think it's how you make AMV and after that you'll know what is the problem of making AMV. I guess :)

In case if that you can't figure it out. You can go again here in the Forum Index to post what is your having problem of your AMV :)

hey guys and gals.. i tried making an amv.. i sat all night making one using adobe premiere... and by the time i was done and ready to make it a video file... the program said it required 8 gb of space for the video.. i thought that was insane... any reason for that? it couldnt be because i used too many effects .. could it? i mean i've seen amvs far more complicated and theyre only 56mb at most... where am i going wrong? any tips?

Getting obsessive and staying up too late working on it.

It could be that you chose to export with Uncompressed RGB as your compressor (which is really no compressor at all). While you do want a high-quality export, there's no reason to go uncompressed when there are perfectly good lossless codecs such as <b>HuffYUV</b> and <b>Lagarith</b> available. Check out <a href="/guides/avtech/">this guide</a>'s section on Premiere exporting for more advice.

It could also be that there's stuff on your timeline before or after where your actual video is, and you have it set to export the entire timeline instead of just the work area.

Running out of beer is a MAJOR problem while editing.

Always be sure to keep a stock at hand! And none of that shitty mass-produced American stuff, I'm talking high-quality.

Getting caught up in doing stupid comedies so much that you don't make a 'real' video for over a year.
