New AMV - Come Out Swinging

Post by omegaevolution » Sun Aug 27, 2006 5:57 pm

ok first time that I heard this song, it came to my mind the anime Hajime no Ippo, I mean "fast song with a kind-of box rhythm so hell, why not?" and here is the result lol.

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=127064

My second AMV made with Sony Vegas, pretty simple in effects and no lip synch (way to difficult for me XD). the AMV tells the story of Ippo, so its NOT A HAJIME NO IPPO TRIBUTE, just to make clear that, enjoy it and tell me what you think of it ^^

lol thanks, I´m glad that you want to go to the gym now XD, looks what happened with Ippo because of that ^^ (well that wasn´t my intention but meh XP). Anyway yeah Sony Vegas can cropp the vids, allowing you to take off the subtittles ;).

Thanks again for the comment ^^

no Sony vegas will not not off subtitles but you can crop it so the subtitles are cut out and so with white flashes that bleed over the side on your main video..

Omege hit me up on the rockmanamv forums to get your video croped ( looks way better.. lazy troll..

wow omega you had me shoked with your rockman amv as a first on vegas but this one was great(I usally love amvs that are simple and dont use a variety of effects) nice job but onyl thing that dissapoints me is that you had to crop off subs :( next time you should you dvd rips. and if it wernt for those flashes it would have been harder to tell if you croped subs out or you could try to find the raws, if you dont crop it it makes the video look much better sence you can see the whole image, but your compression seemed cleaner then your last rockman amv

and....

not the smartest thing to announce  I know tons of people use downloaded softwear to make amvs but you shouldnt say "im downloading sony vegas" unless you mean the trial version they have avalible, if you look at the forum rules you will see this
Forum Rules wrote: 4. Thou shalt not use pirated software: No warez, No serialz, No crackz
im not going to tell you that you have to use legal bought softwear sence we all know almost everybody uses downloaded but im am saying is you shouldnt announce you are gona be using elegal softwear to make amvs in the near feuture

Ah, that was a damn fine AMV. I always forget how much I liked Hajime no Ippo and then an AMV like this comes along and gets me pumped to watch it again. :P

I thought the widescreen effect looked fine, unlike these other guys. Sure, it's better to use DVD rips, but if you have to use fansubs, why sacrifice any more of the picture than necessary?

That was a nicely done video, I enjoyed it.

A few points:
The audio sounds pretty crappy since it's only 22 khz, on top of that it's still uncompressed and pretty much wasting space. Also, if you do white flashes or effects which go over the borders, better crop the borders all off, it looks bad and also wastes bitrate :p
