What do I think about it? I think I don't care really. If you like your videos more than others then by all means put your videos up on your top 100 list. Nah mean?

Wait hang on. In all seriousness, has anyone ever got laid over an AMV? Haha, maybe if like, you win some huge con AMV contest... then you're on the stage in front of 1000 people... and some freaky chick is obsessed with your work... hmmm, yes! I can see it now!

That's a question for #AMV. You'll get loads of positive answers. Then again, you'll also realize that the freaky chick isn't always female.

Anyway, I've never really bothered with those. If your own videos are there, sure. Like your video more than you like someone else's. I like my internets more than other people's and I'm not very willing to give them away to anyone.

Honestly? No, they may meet u cuz they liked ur amv, then liked u, THEN slept with u ...but i don't think a girl will actully sleep with u JUST because u made the AMV ... and if they do, they are the worlds most dedicated fan girl, congrats ..slut

But yeah, as for the 'top favs' topic, i think that if your vid is something you enjoy more then other vids, the by all means, put it on your list, i know it may LOOK cocky ...but if it IS better, y not? :/

I don't know... I'm of the mindset that less is more when it comes to showing off your own stuff. I'm personally a bit turned off by a person when I see their own videos on their list, but I think the concept of showing that you enjoy your own stuff is by all means okay (I mean, the whole hobby is basically about enjoyment) but the vibe it gives off is usually negative. I think a few words in a profile could better express how you enjoy your own videos rather than putting them in the list.

I think I have a new goal in life... find this girl... j/k. I have always wanted to get with a hot girl in Cosplay at a convention tho, maybe this will be my gateway!

Anyway, the reason I had them there was simple. I liked them. Otherwise I wouldn't have made them. Call it conceited or egocentric, but when I put them up there it was for the simple reason that I did like my own videos as much as I might have liked any other in that list. I also though made a point never to put any of my videos that I listed on my top 100 to make it to the top 10 because I know there are at least 10 (and of course in reality, tonnes more) other videos out there which I like better than what I created.

It's a favourites list. If anybody really wanted to be accurate, they'd be putting on at least one of their videos there because I hope at least that most people are making videos they like.

by the time I'm done with my video I'm pretty much sick of it. If I made a truthfull list there WOULD NOT be any of my videos there ZERO.

.... coarse I watch and watch and listen a video to death before I release it just cuz I'm a perfectionist with lots of free time (aka jobless dork -_-) so... thankfully most everybody's not like me.

Hehe... actually, the reason that I took down the videos which I put on my list before was because I did eventually get sick of them. I sort of try to keep the list up to date... currently, not many of my latest videos really warrant me saying I like them more than any of the other videos in my list...

Well, but based on assumption, you would think most people like their own vids, that's why they made them, so having your own vids on your list feels kinda un-necessary.
